Riggs Autopack Win At Pendle Business Awards- July 16th 2018

Uk depositor manufacturer Riggs Autopack Ltd is delighted to announce we have won "Manufacturer of the Year” at the recent Pendle Business Awards 2018.

The awards, which are held every 2 years and organised jointly by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision Board, was hosted by BBC North West Tonight’s Beccy Barr (pictured below). They have fast become one of Lancashire’s most prestigious events in the business calendar and recognises the most creative, innovative and highest achieving businesses, as well as the people behind them.

They could be a one-man band with a local specialist trade, a growing small to medium-sized business, or a large scale company with a worldwide reputation. Winners received the coveted Pendle, an elegant glass and metal sculpture inspired by Pendle Hill, and engraved with the winner's name and award category.

Dennis Mendoros, chairman of Pendle Vision Board said: “The awards night was absolutely fantastic. It was our best event yet! We were joined by some of the borough’s greatest businesses and I was really proud to be among them. We want to shout about everything that Pendle has to offer and show that you can make it in Pendle and that’s what the business awards are all about!”

Riggs Autopack’s General Manager Nigel Matthews, pictured below receiving the award with his wife Di Matthews, and also with the Riggs Autopack team, said “We're absolutely delighted to have won the Manufacturer of the Year Award for 2018, especially after winning Manufacturer of the Year at the same awards in 2014. It’s an extraordinary achievement for our company. The Pendle area has a strong heritage of manufacturing and we're delighted to have been given this prestigious award, especially in light of the high calibre of entrants and fellow nominees".

"A big thank you to all the team at Riggs Autopack for the effort and dedication they've put in over the years to help Riggs Autopack become the company we are today. It goes without saying that we're only as good as the team around us. A big thank you must also go to all our customers and suppliers who continue to support us. The future looks very good for Riggs Autopack but we must continue to make sure we put the customer first”.
